27.04.21 Haifa
This episode of Black Hour is dedicated to Eric Dolphy (1928-1964), a multi-instrumentalist, composer, improviser, and arranger who collaborated with and contributed to the evolution of black music, while leading his own groups, he also worked with musicians very different in their approaches, among them Ornette Coleman, Charles Mingus, John Coltrane, Oliver Nelson, Booker Little, Clifford Brown and Max Roach. Eric Dolphy has a unique and huge  sense of composition and improvisation alike, and that is reflected both in his own work and his collaborations alike.
